You can use the web app (WebUSB/Chrome) or install the desktop Suite for full features.

Connect your device & install firmware
Follow on-screen prompts to install / verify firmware and create a new wallet.

Write down your recovery phrase
Back up the secret recovery phrase offline — never store it digitally.

Keep your device & firmware updated
Periodically check Trezor Suite for firmware updates and authentic prompts.
Security tips
- Always use the official start flow at
trezor.io/start. Avoid links in unsolicited messages. - Never share your recovery phrase. Trezor staff will never ask for it.
- Verify firmware prompts on the device screen before confirming.
- Prefer the desktop Suite for advanced features; web Suite works via WebUSB (Chrome) too.
